Lakeland Tire Collection & Recycling Event

Join Keep Polk County Beautiful and Polk County Board of County Commissioners – at the Lakeland Solid Waste Facility, 605 Evelyn Ave., Lakeland from 8 a.m.– 12 p.m. (NOON) for a FREE TIRE RECYCLING EVENT. Residents and agricultural land owners may dispose of up to 24 tires per vehicle. Absolutely NO TIRE BUSINESSES, INDEPENDENT or COMMERCIAL TRUCKING COMPANIES or AUTOMOTIVE BUSINESSES of ANY kind will be permitted. No tractor, semi or off-road tires will be accepted. Legal hauling limits will be strictly enforced.
Tire hauling services have been graciously Donated by The City of Lakeland Solid Waste.

Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Information: Polk County’s Waste and Recycling Division will host a Mobile Collection Event for Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics from 8am-12 pm at the Lakeland Solid Waste Facility.
