SUMMARY:Skyview\, Eaton Park\, Crystal Lake and South Combee Communities - CIU2GIU Curbside Event
DESCRIPTION:This Cleanup Program in partnership with Polk County Government will consist of a large scale trash pick up throughout the Skyview\, Eaton Park\, Crystal Lake and South Combee community (clean sweep). Unincorporated areas only-Sunshine Village\, Anglers Cove & Anglers Cove West are NOT INCLUDED.  All households are asked to participate by placing their trash by the curb no later than 6 am for this one day event. Please do not place your trash out more than 48 hours prior to this event. This program will provide disposal of items that are NOT generally collected with their residential garbage such as remodeling & household construction debris (shingles\, drywall\, wood\, fencing\, cabinets\, etc.) on THIS DAY ONLY. Absolutely NO appliances containing freon\, NO tires or hazardous waste will be collected curbside. DESCRIPTION:Join Keep Polk County Beautiful at  C Wilson Equipment\, 2301 US Hwy 17 S.\, Bartow from 9 a.m.– 1 p.m.   for a FREE TIRE COLLECTION EVENT.  Residents and agricultural land owners may dispose of up to 24 tires per vehicle.   Absolutely NO TIRE BUSINESSES\, INDEPENDENT or COMMERCIAL TRUCKING COMPANIES or AUTOMOTIVE BUSINESSES of ANY kind will be permitted. No tractor\, semi or off-road tires will be accepted.  Legal hauling limits will be strictly enforced. \nTire hauling services have been graciously Donated by The City of Bartow Solid Waste and Scrap It. \nFor more information\, call: Keep Polk County Beautiful at (863)875-8911 \n  \nHousehold Hazardous Waste Recycling Information:  Polk County’s Solid Waste will host a Mobile Collection Event for Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics from 9am-1 pm at Bartow High School.  NO COMMERCIAL WASTE.  For more information\, contact Solid Waste at (863)284-4319.
