DESCRIPTION:Join Keep Polk County Beautiful at  C Wilson Equipment\, 2301 US Hwy 17 S.\, Bartow from 9 a.m.– 1 p.m.   for a FREE TIRE COLLECTION EVENT.  Residents and agricultural land owners may dispose of up to 24 tires per vehicle.   Absolutely NO TIRE BUSINESSES\, INDEPENDENT or COMMERCIAL TRUCKING COMPANIES or AUTOMOTIVE BUSINESSES of ANY kind will be permitted. No tractor\, semi or off-road tires will be accepted.  Legal hauling limits will be strictly enforced. \nTire hauling services have been graciously Donated by The City of Bartow Solid Waste and Scrap It. \nFor more information\, call: Keep Polk County Beautiful at (863)875-8911 \n  \nHousehold Hazardous Waste Recycling Information:  Polk County’s Solid Waste will host a Mobile Collection Event for Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics from 9am-1 pm at Bartow High School.  NO COMMERCIAL WASTE.  For more information\, contact Solid Waste at (863)284-4319.
